TERMS & CONDITIONS

   
HOW TO BOOK
Forward your completed reservation form along with your deposit to your travel agent or Worldwide Quest.

DEPOSITS
All trips require a deposit of CAD$500/US$400.
The deposit will confirm your reservation until 90 days prior to trip departure, at which time the balance of the payment is due. If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, we will regard the booking as cancelled.

UPON REGISTRATION
Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive immediate confirmation and a pre-departure information package that will include visa/passport requirements, insurance information, health information, recommended reading list, clothing suggestions, and other travel tips. A complimentary T-shirt will be provided prior to departure, as well as baggage tags and meeting instructions.

CANCELLATION
In the event of a cancellation at least 90 days prior to departure, deposits can be transferred to a future trip (transfer/administrative fee may apply). If cancellation occurs less than 90 days prior to departure , all payments are non-refundable.

TRANSFER OF DEPOSIT
If you wish to transfer from one trip to another, we must receive your notification, in writing, at least 70 days prior to departure. Your deposit will be transferred, less an administrative fee of C$75/US$50. If notification is received by us less than 70 days prior to departure, all payments are non-refundable. Deposits must be applied to trips departing not later than one year from time of transfer.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Trip insurance is required for our trips. An insurance application form for our all-inclusive travel insurance, which includes trip cancellation, medical, and other coverage, will be sent to you on receipt of your booking.
Please note: An insurance waiver must be signed and proof of alternative insurance coverage must be provided if you do not wish to purchase our policy.

TOUR COSTS
Tour costs and inclusions are listed on the detailed itinerary for each tour. To avoid surcharges due to the volatility of the Canadian dollar, for our featured group departures, all guaranteed prices are listed in US dollars. Payment may be made in US dollars or in the equivalent Canadian dollars at our exchange rate.
Unless indicated otherwise on the tour itinerary, the tour fee includes: accommodations in double occupancy and most meals, all transportation during the tour, entrance fees for parks and other areas, and services of local guide/tour leader.

Tour costs are based on group rates and no refunds will be given for unutilized services for any reason whatsoever.

Items not included in our costs:
• International airfare
• Visa and passport charges
• Departure taxes
• Extra meals not included in itinerary
• Items of a personal nature (ie laundry, medical expenses, personal clothing)
• Emergency evacuation
• Personal travel insurance
• Gratuities and excess baggage

LIABILITY
Prior to participating in any tour, you will be required to complete a brief confidential personal information, health and liability form.

TOUR DATES, DELAYS AND ROUTE CHANGES
Since schedules are determined up to a year-and-a-half in advance, changes in dates may have to be made. It is also possible that route changes, delays or postponements may become necessary. This could happen due to inclement weather, political restrictions or any other cause. In this event, you will have no right to a refund and Worldwide Quest will have no obligation in respect to such changes, except as follows:

• If the scheduled place of departure for the land content of the tour is changed, we will arrange, at your expense, substitute means of transportation from the original point of departure to the rescheduled point of departure.
• If the scheduled duration of the land content of the tour is shortened by more than 24 hours, we will make a refund based on the number of complete days the trip was shortened.
• Worldwide Quest reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case any payment you have made to Worldwide Quest will be refunded in full. You will not be entitled to make any further claims for compensation or damages, for any loss, consequential damage, expenses, loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.

GROUP SIZE & TRIP COSTS
Our trips are guaranteed to operate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 16 participants. In the event that our Featured Group departures have less than 10 participants, they will be escorted by local guides. All other services including meals, excursions accommodations as listed in our detailed itinerary will remain the same.

IMPORTANT NOTE
All services described herein are organized by Worldwide Quest International Inc. Notice is hereby given that all arrangements made on behalf of customers are made by the organizers on the sole condition that the organizers shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned through acts of any company and/or persons engaged in carrying out arrangements and services described herein or otherwise in connection herewith.

The information contained in this brochure is correct to the best of the organizers’ knowledge, but the organizers accepts no liability for any inaccuracies therein. The organizers reserve the right to alter any itinerary or service at any time without penalty to the organizer.

Any additional expense or cancellation costs shall be borne by the customer.

The organizers reserve the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any customer at the discretion of the organizers. Payment of deposit is taken as acknowledgement of and agreement to the above items.

AIR CARRIER RESPONSIBILITY
Tour and guide services, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and all other services except carriage by air as provided by the airlines are furnished by the contractors, who are independent and do not act for or on behalf of the airlines.

The acceptance of this order of participation in the tour by the passenger or his assignees shall be deemed to be consent to an acceptance by such person(s) of the above and of any further conditions and that the airline shall not be liable or responsible in any way whatsoever for the accuracy of any representations regarding such tour services, nor shall the airlines be liable or responsible for any inconvenience, loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with such tour services other than its liability under the ticket and tariff provision for carriage by air furnished by it.
