Hong Kong - The name accurately evokes
images of lofty skyscrapers and a bustling
centre of commerce. But there is so much more
to this exciting city; spectacular vistas,
tranquil forest trails and hidden urban wilderness,
traditional markets beneath gleaming ultramodern
towers, quaint hillside neighbourhoods served
by rustic, rattling trams, a vibrant East-meets-West
cultural scene with excellent museums and
galleries, endless shopping opportunities,
and a diverse assemblage of distinctive districts,
all overlain with the unique imprint of a
century of British governance.
