A GLIMPSE OF PATAGONIA

Southern Argentina and Chile share a vast expanse of land of some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in all of South America. Divided by the Andes Mountains, Patagonia is a wonderland of sparkling glacial lakes, towering granite peaks, impressive glaciers, beech forests and rolling grasslands. Its awe-inspiring scenery has captured the imagination of travellers from all over the world. Patagonia is also home to some unique wildlife, including sea birds, guanacos, elephant seals and right whales.

This is an ideal introduction to the world renowned national parks of Patagonia. We include visits to the vast alpine terrain of Los Glaciares (Argentina) and Torres del Paine (Chile) National Parks. We take a number of exhilarating day walks, returning at night to a comfortable hotel or lodge. This program may be extended with a visit to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls, or may be combined with our Antarctica voyages out of Ushuaia.
