Your journey includes two of the most incredible sights in this corner of the world. Victoria Falls is awe-inspiring in its grandeur. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Falls push 550,000 cubic meters of water per minute over the basalt cliff into the Zambezi River Gorge. The reserve at Chobe is equally sensational. This vast park is home to a hugely varied wildlife. With water supply from the rivers, animals stay here all year round and you have excellent chances of seeing lions, elephants and giraffes.
A short flight takes you to the Okavanga Delta, one of the biggest, and certainly the most spectacular, inland deltas in the world. You'll explore the Delta by dugout canoe, paddling through the pristine wilderness and by motorboat to track some of the larger species that inhabit Africa's Eden. Botswana has not exploited its full tourist potential and dissuades large numbers of visitors. This means safaris here are liable to be rather expensive affairs, but the rewards are priceless.
